これは長野冬季オリンピック大会1998の国際放送センター(IBC)で働く情報システムボランティア用非公式なwebです。我々の活動をお互いに、自由に、タイミングよく伝えていく目的で作りました。

現在の状況

IBCは9月1日にNAOCへ引き渡され、ほとんどのIBC要員はIBCで働き始めました。現在、米国CBSの機器設置も始まっています。上のイメージは、周りの植え込み工事なども終わったあとのIBC完成予想図です。['97.10.01現在]

IBC Volunteers of Nagano Olympic Games

International Broadcasting Center

This is the informal, unofficial web by the volunteers of the IT team supporting the International Broadcasting Center (IBC) of the 1998 Winter Olympics Games in Nagano, Japan. It is intended for better communications among us and our friends worldwide, in a casual and non-bureaucratic manner.

Current Status

IBC was handed over to NAOC on Sept. 1, and now most IBC people are working at IBC, not at NAOC. CBS of USA has begun installation of their equipment. The image above shows the IBC when all construction work is completed, including the surrounding trees. [As of Oct. 1]
